Vivienne Reed

Hi, I'm Vivienne.

I'm an enthusiastic, innovative, and hard-working learner seeking strategic, challenging full-time work in law, communications, or marketing. I recently graduated from the University of Virginia's MA in Religion, Politics, and Conflict with a focus in American political history and law, writing my thesis regarding the use of religious rhetoric in the political sphere. Additionally, I recently completed a BA at the University of Virginia with a major in Government with a focus in American politics, a minor in bioethics, and a certificate in business fundamentals.

My strengths include versatility, creative problem-solving, resourcefulness, and empathetic, democratic communication. My past work includes serving as a paralegal in intellectual property and personal injury litigation, as well as internships focused on legal research in the intersection of psychiatry and law, rhetorical analysis for international peace-building, and administrative planning and coordination in the business sector. I am very interested in current events and culture, and my hobbies include yoga, kickboxing, bar trivia, and exploring my city's dining and music scene. I look forward to meeting you and learning how I can help you do the things you do well even better.
